Lumahealth Vietnam payment procedure 2026 for USD accounts and invoices

Dear Valued Partners,
 

We would like to inform you of an important update to the payment process for health insurance policies in Vietnam insured by Baolong Insurance. This change is designed to automate payment processing and reduce manual reconciliation, improving speed and visibility for all parties.


What’s changing (USD bank transfers)
We have partnered with Stripe to facilitate USD premium payments for both new and renewal policies.


What your clients paying in USD will need to do:

  • Use the Stripe payment link provided.

     

  • If the client selects “Bank Transfer”, the transfer instructions will automatically appear in the platform.

     

  • The client completes the transfer using their banking application, following the instructions shown after clicking the link.


Invoice updates
For new and renewing clients, two invoices will be issued:

  • VND invoice: will continue to include Baolong’s local bank account details.

     

  • USD invoice: will not include bank details; clients should follow the payment link instructions in the email.

     

 

Exceptions

If there are any exceptions or special payment scenarios, please contact our team so we can advise on the appropriate process.

For corporate clients who may have saved Baolong’s previous bank details, please remind clients to update their payment method and use the payment link to ensure smooth reconciliation and automation.

 

What we need from you
To avoid payment delays and reconciliation issues, please:

  • Emphasize that clients must use the payment link for USD bank transfers (LUMA’s international bank account details will appear in the bank transfer instructions).
  • Remind any clients paying in USD who have saved Baolong bank details will need to update their payment method and use the payment link.
