ACS insurance healthcare Intl price increase for 2025
Dear Client,
Below are the renewal conditions for your Expatriation Insurance 2025 policy.
As a preamble, we would like to remind you that your premium can be revised annually, on 1 January. This revision takes into account 3 criteria:
| - | any change in your age bracket on 1 January 2025 (regardless of your birthday), | | the volume of claims recorded over the first 3 quarters of the current year for all policyholders covered by the same insurance contract, | | international medical inflation, | In a very tense economic context, marked by high medical inflation worldwide, and even more so in South-East Asia, where some of the main hospitals are charging increasingly high rates, our insurer Allianz has informed us that our portfolio is very much in deficit, and has unfortunately forced us to make a sharp adjustment to our health rates in order to ensure the continuity and quality of the cover offered to our policyholders.
All Health 2025 premium will be indexed at 14%, plus any increase linked to your change of age bracket.
The rates applicable to any optional cover remain unchanged.
Changes to the Assistance / Evacuation and Personal Liability options
If you have subscribed to the Assistance_Evacuation and/or Private Life Civil Liability options, please note that on 1 January 2025, MGEN Portugal will become the risk carrier for these options, replacing AWP P&C.
The pricing conditions for these options will remain unchanged.
The level of cover for Assistance-Evacuation remains the same.
Personal Civil Liability cover will be enhanced, with an increase in the annual limit for bodily injury, property damage and consequential loss cover. It will also include a capital sum of €/$25,000 in the event of accidental death or absolute and permanent disability.
Please note that your Assistance provider remains EURO-CENTER.
